Bries first trip to Disney MGM studios was this month. We got to see Cinderella light her castle, which was amazing and Brie rode her first 'ride'-Pirates of the Caribbean. She loved and was mesmerized by all of it. She's so easy going! What a wonderful baby we've been blessed with.

Brie had her first slumber party this month when her cousins, Grayson, Summerlyn, and Addy came to stay the night. Heres a pic of everyone in their pjs.
Bries first trip to Santa was a success. We had a 120 min wait but Brie loved the kids in front and behind us so the wait was not so bad. She was very serious with this new man and his white beard. She only cried towards the end because she was OVER the flash bulbs from the camera mans camera.

We had Thanksgiving dinner with Granny and PopPop in Ft. Lauderdale. We are thankful for so many things. All the blessings of family health and love, who could ask for more?

The 6th Month of Brie

What a wonderful month Oct was. Aunt Jenica came to visit and we got to go for some long runs in the cool weather, we went to the fall festival at Tomoka Elementary and we dressed as a monkey for halloween. The weather was too warm on Halloween night for Brie to be comfortable in her costume, so she wore her skeleton p.j.'s to hand out candy on our front porch. She loved seeing all the kids dressed up. Brie is meeting lots of new friends at our SAHM group. Below is a picture of Brady, he is only a month younger and doesn't sit up like Brie does, but she doesn't mind. She loves to look at him and smile. The other babies in the group are social but not as happy as Brie. Brie loves to laugh at them, all the Moms think she is the happiest baby. Brie has been sitting like a professional since her 6 month bday anniversary. We're having so much fun and I'm so lucky to have such a happy baby. Life is good.

5 Months Old Already?

Brie is 5 months old. I can not believe it. She is growing and learning so much each day. She learned this month that the Cubbies will 'find a way to lose' as Dad says. That the beach is fun for naps, a good sunrise and early a.m. runs in the jogging stroller, and that afternoon naps with Dad at home are still the best.

Dom and I continue to feel blessed each day with our sweet Brie-ito. She is our greatest love and we can not imagine our life without her. She always finds a way to make us smile, even on a grumpy day. She's become a regular at the kids club at LA fitness and all the employees there love her. They told me today she is the BEST baby! :) Of course I already knew that. She loves to stay on the move and meet new people. All the strangers at the grocery store always get a kick out of the way she smiles and giggles when they talk to her. She loves to sit up or stand up (with help) and can hardly stand to just lay around waiting for the action. The afternoons are finally cooling off a bit and Brie and I love our late afternoon 'shade picnics' in the back yard where we just sit and watch the wind in the palm. What a wonderful, joyful, blessed life this is.

We went for a walk down by lake Monroe yesterday and got this pic by the water with my camera phone. Brie loves that my phone says 'ready? 1 2 3' before it takes the picture.

GOT TOES??

We had a great labor day weekend with Granny and PopPop. We got to relax and eat out and Brie loved every minute of it. This is Brie with Granny and PopPop at our local German restaurant. The Willow Tree Cafe.

Road Trip to Niceville

Brie is rolling over front to back now. She likes to sleep on her back but doesn't mind rolling to her tummy and staying that way...even if you move her to her back. We are off to Ft. Lauderdale so I can take my Critical Care class Thurs-Sunday. I'm sad to leave Brie for class but I know she'll do well with Dad Granny and PopPop. I think she was getting excited today just watching me pack. :) She's such a traveler! We get back from Ft. Lauderdale Sunday night then we are off to Niceville with Mara, Grayson, Summerlyn and Addy on Tuesday morning. Will post soon.
